Dear Client,
The tax documents in PDF format are signed / furnished with a certified electronic signature, which unambiguously proves the origin and authenticity of the delivered document. This certificate was issued as a qualified system certificate within the meaning of Act No. 227/2000 Coll. and related legislation, and was issued by the certification authority PostSignum QCA, which is the qualified certification authority of Česká pošta, s.p. Česká pošta, s.p. became an accredited provider of certification services on 3 August 2005 on the basis of accreditation granted by the Ministry of Informatics of the Czech Republic.
The certificate can be verified most easily in the PDF viewer Adobe Reader version 8.1.0 or higher (you can check your version in the Help / About menu) by clicking on the signatures (see image).
If your system is not able to verify the certificate, it is necessary to install the certificates of the PostSignum QCA certification authorities in order to enable verification of the sender’s certificate.
For users of the Windows operating system (2000, XP, Vista), we recommend importing the certification authority certificates directly into Windows and enabling Windows integration in Adobe Reader: open Edit / Preferences (Ctrl+K), then Security / Advanced Preferences / Windows Integration, and check Verify signatures and Verify certified documents.
